One of our Colleague met with an accident and Lost his leg. He is a Philippine and hand to mouth earner. His family is at his home town. He is in Hamad Hospital in ICU.

I want to know is there any NGO or any other such organization which can help him and support him/his family???

in addition,Theres OWWA for filipinos near hamad Human resources.We Usually are insured for certain amount of money in case something happen to us.Apply there and they will help.1. OWWA

2. Car insurance if he was hit by acar

3.The person Who hit him has to pay a blood money

4.The company it self.

There you got 4 sources which ever is applicable

Sorry to hear about it...What kind of accident did he met?..car accident? work related accident?..if yes then definitely he must be compensated by the person or insurance or company..if you can try to tsek his contract..maybe there is a provision under his contract regarding compensation during accident specially if it is work related accident..
