One of our Colleague met with an accident and Lost his leg. He is a Philippine and hand to mouth earner. His family is at his home town. He is in Hamad Hospital in ICU.
I want to know is there any NGO or any other such organization which can help him and support him/his family???

if it happens during office hour, you can get some from the company and also the law for accident in Qatar applies whereby the court will determine the amount of money that the offender should settle with him, and he will be paid. I knew only of death that they increase it to 200 thousand but for legs or any other part i have no idea at all...
Off Course you may inform the his embassy first.
Secondly contact a legal advisor for litigations.
You may notify this to the pinoy groups, such as philipino school & philipino church etc.which are very next to LULU CENTRE(Take care of yourself if you are walking to cross the road towards the said destination.)

There are some organizations like JAMIA AL KHARIA , SHK.EID TRUST but I have no idea the way they do help to needy ppl.

i dont know any NGO. im not sure if the red cresent can help him. is the accident work related? becuase if it is, he should get some insurance. good luck buddy
