Just terminated from company with one month notice period( NOC offered ,can search other job ) , but company saying that i have to work whole day until notice period finish....is it like that ?

The notice period means you have to work until the last hour/day of the advance notice.

yes you get paid so you need to work till the last hour.Unless you ask for your earned leave to be taken ( if the company agrees) so you have time to look for a new job.
