Is there any hold departures for those who have existing bankloans and credit card?
I have a friend who have worries regarding her credit cards. She is going for annual vacation leave this coming next friday. Somebody told her from her workplace that Commercial Bank is holding for departure those who didn't pay their credit card.Is it true?
She had her debt on her card for about QR9000 on other bank. But because of some financial emergencies, she missed to pay her payment for 5 consecutive months. The bank called her about the payments, and warned if she will not comply to it, they will make an actions.
She said she will pay half of it,..and i think this morning she went there to pay already(half).....but still she's worried if they can hold her at the airport?
And she's promising them she will come back to Doha and work again to continue the payment.
1. How true the Commercial Bank or other banks is holding departure even she will get an exit permit from her company?
Please need your opinion so i can give her good advice before she leave Doha.
Is it on Commercial Bank only? How about the others, still the same?
Some missed their payments for 3 months but they did the payment on the 4rth month together with the 3 months due,...and monthly they are updating...is still the same, put them on the Blacklist?
Yes it's true. For those who are having a loan or a debt on the credit card, and not paying 3 or more consecutive payments, Commercial bank is filing a civil case to the court. The court and the police then make a hold point in the immigration of the airport. In her case, for sure she's already on the blacklist. She must talk to the bank now, and ask for NOC or clearance for departure from CBQ. If she knows somebody in CBQ who can check for her account, or if she's having a bad record or a filed case....better to check with this person first.
she is crazy to inform them that she is leavin the country. they will put her name on airport already. she must go without tellin them and then contacting them from outside and start payin the loan!!! goodluck.
