If you are intending to bring family, bargain without accommodation for Qr.20,000/- Na occasionally get them on visit in vacations if you like to save or if your children a grown up. Please use your brain as per your personal needs, you will be the best judge for yourselves.

StaceyR has spoken enough you to decide and you are not a kid or young guy.

Living in a shared company provided accommodation might be easier on your wallet but that is all depend on your lifestyle and your housemate.

If you're lucky and end up with easy going and friendly person who also happens to be in love with domestic chores like cleaning house and cooking.. then there is no reason to spend the extra money. But if you happen to live with a housemate from hell.. then you better leave the place and live outside or ask to move to another place.

I've been in both situation. Last one was with my ex... I'd forgotten what cleanliness was like until I got rid of him. Even my cats know where the litter tray is, yaknowhadamsayin?

Rental is expensive in Qatar. Set aside at least 6000 for a decent accommodation. You'll probably need to travel to work everyday & I assumed it's your own expense. Put that at 2000 per month. Food - 1500. Internet & Phone Bills - 1000.

If you're taking 20,000 that would leave you with roughly 9000 per month. I haven't include going out, personal expenses, etc... Let's add 1000 assuming you don't drink & don't go out much. So you'll be saving 8000/month, roughly. If that is enough for you then yeah take the 20000 salary.

Just a thing to remind you, I don't think house rents will be going down any soon. Chances are they'll increase the rent the next time you're renewing your contract.

If you're single and not planning on bringing the whole village to live and visit you, take the 18,000QR. You will need the money for everything else and still be able to save money.

Regardless of nationality, you'll get the visa.. it just takes longer than everyone else.

Unless you're from Aruba. Most of them had to tell lie that they're originally from the Netherlands for those guys at the airport custom to clear their entry to Doha.

Be sure they can get you a visa. Visas for Pakistanis are next to impossible. Qatar wants to reduce the number of Pakistanis in Qatar not increase them
