It depends on the immigration officer approving it. Another thing is before you get your baby's birth certificate, you have to deposit a Passport (original) at the CID office for guarantee. If the baby is denied of being given a visa, you need to present an airline ticket of the mother and baby bound to country of origin in order for you to get the passport which was used as guarantee.

Good luck!

I have my valid residence permit under company sponsorship and we are legally married. I am just worried coz somebody told me to transfer sponsorship under my husband's to avoid problems.

I delivered privately at Al Ahli hospital whilst on a visit visa and the only thing they requested was I paid the general fees up front and then paid any extras when I was discharged. Apart from that it was fine. We had to present the usual passport copies, marriage certificate etc though.

If you are legally married, and just on your own work permit (residence permit), then I shouldn't think there'd be a problem.
