Are there traffic jams between Al-Wakra and Doha?

Hello everybody,

As I'm looking around for 2 B/R accommodation in Doha (newly arrived), I'm also looking at the possibility of an apartment in a villa in Al-Wakra.

I would like to know if the road between Doha and Al-Wakra usually gets congested.

My office is in Salwa Road, near D-ring interchange, and I wouldn't like to spend half an hour (or more) driving in each direction every day.

Would be grateful for any advice.

Wakra doesn't have the same prices as Doha. See my other thread for price examples. Yes there are some places that have the same prices but on average it's cheaper.

I am new to doha also! but during my stay I went to every where to search for flat lol So I am an updated source lol.

Look Wakra has the same prices as doha so I prefer to rent at Doha.

about the road it takes exactly from El matar (doha) to 1st ROund About in Wakra 6 min exactly during the whole day.

I hope I helped

Hey there buddy,

In its normalcy, you don't end up with big traffic jams between Wakrah and Doha in the highway...the road is about 120kmph and it is pretty plain and moving traffic...unless there's some accident that's stopped the whole way...

So yea, it shouldn't take more than 15-20 mins for a drive each way to get to your point...

Cheers...
