I'm looking for some Australian's to provide some advice. I'm moving from Australia to Doha in the coming weeks and am after info about where I should bank while in Qatar. My family will be remaining in Australia for now so I will need an easy way to transfer income from Qatar to my Australian bank account.

Any help please Aussies.

we have some Aussies here with my company. Most of us signed up with QNB as they have internet banking and make it easy to transfer money abroad. Some say use the same bank as your company but others say use a large bank. swings and roundabouts really.

Thanks, I have a CBA account in Australia but can I use a Qatari bank to transfer to my CBA account in Australia? If so which Qatari bank is better?

With the UAE Exchange how does that work?

well dear there are several ways of easy & fast transferring of money to Australia.. there in Australia it will be great to have account in commonwealth bank, all amount from here first received by commonwealth bank then they transfer to other banks such as westpack or ANZ etc of which they charge some extra amount and also took 1-2 extra days but if u have account in commonwealth bank then u can save that extra charges and also can get ur amount bit early thn other banks..

2nd option is that u hve UAE Exchange through which u can send and receive money in a minutes... but i think through UAE Exchange u can get only cash then u hve to take that amount to bank for deposit...

hope this help u..
