Direct driving test where?

Hi, I went to Madina Khalfit (?) police for my Qatar license but I must do a direct test. My home country license is Thailand although I am from the UK. Must I do the driving test within so many days? i.e is there a time limit? I went to the police station on Tuesday.

Do I apply to a Driving School to do my direct test? Which is the nearest one for me if I live in Bin Mahmoud area?

Many thanks for any help.

Dear in every school there is a police department no need to go to main Madinat Khalifa Station just go to any school with your eye test report and your original home country driving license and directly go to the police department of that school show them your original home country license and ask him you want to go for direct test he will charge you 100 QR for test date then you will go that school office and showed them your test appointment letter they will charge you 50 QR vehicle fees that's it , i did the same for mine in gulf driving school.

Police officer will decide which driving course you have to go to. If he gives you some choices, I suggest you to choose Al Raya Driving School in Bin Omran, because it's near to your house in Bin Mahmood.
