Do I need a RP if I have a 2 year Visa?

I am moving to Doha next month, I've been traveling backwards and forwards from UK for nearly a year, and I have just got a 2 year business/multi visa from Qatar Embassy in UK. Will I also need an RP? Can someone explain the difference between the two? What about my husband?

Many thanks

Where would I go to get my RP then? Would I just need to take my passport with the 2 year visa in it, or do would I need any further documents?

Thanks

All visas issued by Qatar Immigration with life of at least one year and more, entitles the holder to have a plastic laminated RP which further you can use the same for negotiation or whatever transactions you'll have to go into around Qatar... RP serves as the primary identification used althroughout Qatar... Along with the visa processing, it cost only QAR50.00, now increased to QAR100.00.

No, you should have an RP if you want to open an account or renting a property...

Just wanted to clarify this ...so for renting property, banks etc my multiple visa which is valid for 2 years will do in place of an RP?

hi

it seems that you have obtain a Multiple Entry Visit visa for 2 years not business visa.As business visa is issued only for 3 months not more than that.
