Hi, i'm here in qatar on visit visa and want to get driving licence. Is it possible that a visitor can join driving school over here and get licence. I do not have any other country licence so i here i have to join whole course of driving. I'm here for 3 months on visit visa but planning to get resident visa so i would like to know that if i get licence on visit visa can i transfer it on resident visa or again i have to give test for licence????

its possible......in business visa and family visit . now you can easily join to the school also, no documents required from the sponsor to join the driving .

One of the requirements in getting a drivers license is the RP, so, it is impossible for you to get one with your Visit Visa Only.
