I apologize for typing my message in SMS format. Anyway, thanks for your info. This is the first time that I've posted a question/message at QL and I've learned a lot in the process. Thanks again!

Basic rule in the immigration specially in the Middle East is to check everything as in everything!!

I advice you to clear all your doubts in your laptop and cellphone by deleting / uninstall all non-genuine softwares and/or some "not so legal files".

You have done your Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar and I am sure you are not comfortable / confident showing of that stuff.

Further, kindly post as clearly as possible and not in SMS Format as most of the QL members wants to give a helping hand.

Without them understanding clearly your question, you would not get favorable answers.

Good luck!!

Laptops and celfons are not checked or examined upon arrival in Qatar airport, except that these will, as in any other airports, go through xray machines.

However, Qatar is a signatory to international copyright treaty on anti-software piracy. The Ministry of commerce has been vigorous lately on thier campaign against software piracy. If you are travelling with laptop installed with pirated softwares this is just a word of caution and consider yourself forwarned.
