Yep, Vichu is right, the Pathfinder is a fantastic car. We bougt one at the end of 2007 and it handles all road types. It is a comforatble ride and easy to get round in the city as well as off road. They are 7 seaters, however the back two seats are usually folded down to give you a huge boot and lots of storage space.
The Prado on the other hand is a lot heavier and smaller inside. Its a bit more precious and you would probably not want to take it off road too much. Not as powerful as the Pathfinder either.
Pathys hold their value very well, you would probably get better resale for the Prado though as people buy them that can't quite stretch to a Landcruiser.
nissan pathfinder is basically an off road vehicle,a mid size SUV,i had one in dubai,it is really a beast who takes us to heights in off road, travelling is ok,not so much comfortable, but riding feeling is there, easy to handle, good interiors ,totally solid one.if u r looking for a power full vehicle,u can go for it..really worth for the amount u spend..

i just wanna say that your choice is great..[from every point]
go go go for it.
if you are thinking of others you can think of Toyota Prado..6v[expensive]
but keep away frim Pajero and Nativa..
Regards..
The Pathfinder is a very capable car. I find the driving position to be very car like - not at all like driving a truck!
CAN ANYBODY ADIVSE ITS SPAREPARTS COST ?
Pathfinder is good, spacious car compared to Prado..but note that resale value will be to Prado. Go ahead with pathfinder and enjoy it....
