GUYS!!! please I need you valued opinions and help...

I am a single lady and fully own an expensive 1-year old (almost new with very low milage) car with qatari registration in my name. I am not a resident in Qatar anymore. It is kept with after-sales service in Doha.

I need this car for my personal use in the UAE for the next two months. I am a UAE resident with a British passport.

How best, fastest and cheapest could I get my car over to UAE?

If I was a guy- MALE- I would jump on a plane and then drive it over here myself, but being a single woman I cannot cross the SAUDI borders by myself.

PLEASE help me find the best solution. I appreciate your advice. You could also call here if it is quicker to just explain in words: UAE code plus five zero nine zero two five four six eight.

THANK YOU- this is a genuine question so please be nice.

I remember there is Cadillac/Hummer showroom and Nissan etc but which used car dealers I cannot.

Thanks again!

I wouldn't recommend you giving your car to any one, unless he is family. Because they won't let a stranger cross the border in a car that isn't his, unless there's an authorization from you or something.

The best method is Option (2), it won't cost that much, and more reliable.

The guy who said Salwa street is right, since it's in Doha, you'll have to call a company in Doha and work with them to bring your car to Dubai. You may have to fax some papers to them, like vehicle registration and such.

rb 73-

I need the car moved from DOHA to DUBAI, not vica versa. Do you know of the equivalent of the Salwa road guys in the UAE??

To others, no it cannot wait till June- needs done within May. Trust me it ain't fun walking in Dubai!!!

Option 1- export- shipping by sea

Option 2- export- getting trailer and driver

Option 3- ask someone to drive it, who I trust- no export just bringing car for a holiday...

Which one??? Still need help!

I have plan to visit Dubai by 18 June with one of my friend. If you can wait till then i ll drive your car to UAE.

But What is Your Budget.coz total Expense to drive through with Saudi visa + petrol is round about QR 1000. Other than this how much u can pay.

U can trust on me and m serious.

By the way which car is it?

IF U like my service ..... double zero nine seven four -- double six two one eight zero nine.

Shipping a car to Dubai is not that difficult, I bought a car in Dubai and it was shipped to Doha overnight. All you need to do is contact any used car dealer on Salwa Road they will charge you around QR1000 for the paperwork and QR2500 for transport your car will be delivered to you in Dubai next or second day. The car is shipped on recovery pickup.

Is there anybody you know, and trust, who could drive it back for you? Despite the 'short' distance, shipping can take weeks, because of the paperwork and the wait to get into the docks etc.

I hope this helps
