How much should I bring from home

Hi,

I will be join you people in Qatar by next month.

My company will be provide accomadation + transport.

This is my first overseas travelling so I have hundreds of doubts.

If some one knows please tell me,
- Roughly how much should I bring for my first months day to day expences like meal and other.
- What is the currency should i bring QAR, USD or SL Ruppe. If I bring USD or Rs. how can I change them to QAR.
- What will be the maximum bagage weight they allow.
- How is the whether in Qatar these days.
- Can I expect frinedly community

There are lot more but I don't make this too lengthy.

You beat me to it but important that the person knows we use Qatari Riyals.

Other things that crossmy mind - don't expect too much and be satisfied with your life - listen to your head and heart and not others complaints and you should fit in very well.

1.i don't think you have to bring anything.. company should provide you with cash advance. Or if you want to bring anyway, QR 5000-7000 would be enough for the first month.

2.You can exchange here USD and Ruppe for sure, you are not the first one (and not the last one) who is going to exchange Ruppes!

3.max luggage weight - you better ask your airline.. it has nothing to do with the qatari law or rules

4. weather is hot +37+40 these days

5. friendly community - sure.. if you are friendly, community is friendly in return - tested law.
