I am living in a flat in Najma. The landlord doesn't provide any service such as AC problem, furniture, lift doesn't work being a 7th storeid building etc. He doesn't even care whether tenant has problem or not becuase he thinks that as long as the contract is in place, tenant is bound to provide cheque payment. He doesn't receive the phone. Pls advise me, if possible.

Yes, RENTAL DISPUTE COMMITTEE in MUMTAZAH area would be a better option for you...

Go to the rental dispute resolution center. Its right across the street from the huge Holiday Villa complex on C-ring and practically inside Muntaza park. You can deposit your rent money with them and they will hold it and notify the owner that he must fix the problems in order to receive his money.
