perscription pills

Hi there! I'll be arriving at Qatar for work in a month or so. So far, everything is going smoothly, except I have prescription pills I have to take regularly. I think my options are: 1. take a small stash with me (plus the doctor's perscription) until I figure out how to get the pills once I settle down. 2. My family sends the pills via mail (but what about the customs then?) 3. I buy the pills in the drugstore in Qatar / or online - however I do not wish to go bankrupt :-); or 4. I get the perscription from a doctor in Qatar once my medical insurance is settled. The pills are for a minor neurological condition, my health status is fine - no problems with X-ray or blood tests.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions or sharing similar experiences.

but have not tried taking it.  You want it, I think it's expired!  But somebody told me before that the blue one is more long-lasting.  I still don't need it for now.  Maybe in ten years?  Who knows?  Heheheheh!  Good morning Padre!(and it's not a prescription pills).

medicine is available here.  So there will be no more speculations and need to bring it in (as there maybe some complications).  Almost all medicines are available here.  Expensive, it goes with the higher salary!

You better bring as much as u can. At least sufficient for 6-12 months. Also carry the original prescription. And later you get the medicine here from the govt. hospital.
