Question about villa contract

Greetings!

I would like to ask for an advise regarding my recent situation about our previous villa. We advise our Landlord one month before that we were going to vacant the villa, and we left the villa Sept 1, our contract will end this coming Oct 5.

Now that the villa is vacant (note that it is still paid till Oct 5), are we (as a previous tenant) responsible for the maintenance that the Landlord need to do just to make the villa clean and neat. Note that there is no major damages on the villa, the only minor damages are those nail hole on the wall and some flush problems.

I would like to know if we as a previous tenant liable for maintenance (i.e. painting the whole internal wall of the villa and some minor material damages? Is it fair that the Landlord will ask us to pay 15,000 Riyal just for the maintenance of the Villa?

Your advise will be highly appreciated.

God Bless

QAR 15,000 Maintenance Fee ???? As far as i know once the place have been vacant the landlord has the option to rent out the place "as-is" let the new tenant/s clean and throw out the garbages or tidy up the place or their so called "renovation" so as they can increase their month profit.

The landlord has been collecting xx,000 QAR per month from you and yet he can't afford to "renovate" his villa ???

Cheers,
