Some help please

Hi everyone,
First I'd just like to say thank you very, very much for all the advice and help so far. We are from the UK but in the summer vacations (I have almost three months) we will actually be in Italy with my cousin. Can I take my lovely cat from Qatar to Italy without quarantine? I know that because Qatar is not in the PET passport scheme I have to put the poor thing in quarantine when we return to London, but is this also true for Italy? Any friendly Italians out there even know where I might find out? I can read Italian so web pages are fine. The people here in the UK can't help.

There used to be a cattery in Qatar operated by one of the vets. If it's still operational leave the cat there, it will save all the hassle.

Ours were very well cared for during their various stays.
