urgent rental depute solution?

Hi,

i ma levaing Qatar for good within 2 days. My housing contract is till december '11. I already gave 1 month notice on August and they accepted it then. Now they are asking for the rent till december in order to vacate or they will not allow me to leave the country. I have heard tht by Qatar law its not necessary if your leaving the country. I am in real trouble since i hav to leave country winthin 2 days. I am trying to work out a compromise by paying one month rent. But the guys are adamant. I want to know if there is any authrority or office i can contact to solve this issue soon before i leave,Anything i can do?

thanks for the reply... settled it by paying 3 months rent... its better to watch out for some nasty ppl like these...
