what to do
By speedmolds •
I recently arrived in Doha from Amsterdam ,Yesterday I was driving in Al-Aziziya street and this car turned up on the main street where I was driving , out of shock and fear I honked to him, he got out of his car and kept hitting me on the face till my eye started to bleed I was with a 2 year old child so I could not fight back , he jumped in his car and fled....I really am shocked as the hospital diagnosed my damaged eye and sent me to the police, there they promised to call me back but til now no call, what else am I required to do ?
Hello friend
its so sad to hear that but this is odd no one in qatar will do like that may be he will be going through some problem in his attitude or may be he will be runny away from the anger managemant program. any way. you contact cops frequently and ask for the updates...
Its not strange and been a trend now. Once I been near mall signal found a crazy guy driving (porche-SUV) in the free right lane and suddenly zipped to his left to go straight in the signal. But the other guy driving straight didn't gave space for him. The crazy driver came out blocking the car & hit him badly. Don't know what happened later I left when I got the signal on.
Typical Qataris who think they own the streets and never wrong at anything on the road , he must have been drunk or on drugs cause no sane man looses his rage like that over a honk , as the cops are very busy so most of the time they forget to call you , just visit the police station and know what is the status , Sorry to hear what happened and Good luck finding the guy who beats up people in front of Children.
This is shocking
Sorry to hear about this unfortunate incident...Keep in touch with the police and describe the model & color of the car and appearance of the culprit.
go back to the police and ask what progress has been made.
