Hi all,

I have converted my wife's visa from visiting visa to RP.I have done her medical on 25th September 2012 while she was on a visiting visa.Now since I have converted her visa to RP Do i need to undego my wife's medical again?How long is the medical valid?Please suggest...

Dear ITSMEPOT,

I have exactly the same issue, i received the RP while i'm on a visit visa, i had the MC in October 2012, do i have to undergo the MC again??

Also is it the same Medical Check for both visit visa holder and RP holder?? or it's different procedure?

Tell your wife to come to medical commission, bring the paper which they gave her last time she have the medical, from there they will tell if she have to undergo again her medical or they will just stamp the paper and she can proceed directly to finger printing. I have done the same thing but they just stamp the paper since its only 1 month from the date of my medical and the time that we were approve for family visa. Goodluck!
