KSA Umrah Visa + Family's stay in KSA

Hello,

I am planning to visit KSA with family on Umra visa by road from Doha. I would drive back in a week but my wife & daughter will stay for more days in Khobar and will catch a flight from Khobar to Doha.

My question is whether my wife will have any trouble while returning from Khobar to Doha on a flight without me?

Also whether KSA authorities will pose any questions on why she arrived with her husband by road and is now returning without him by plane?

I know the above sounds a little stupid but then so are the laws sometimes.

Thanks in advance.

If you are going for Umrah with your family on Umrah visa, you and your family will not allowed to visit any other city except Makkah and Medina. I am sure of this.

Thank you for providing your useful inputs. Umrah is definitely part of my plan however, I have my parents living in Khobar thats why I want to spend time with them in Khobar and leave my family with them for sometime.

I would fly for Umrah with family from Khobar and return to Khobar as well. Then will drive back from Khobar to Doha.

Hope this helps to get more customized solutions.

Thanks again.

As per my knowledge, Number of people going with main sponsor (mehram) to Umrah or Hajj, Should return with him. Unless god forbids if anyone is lost & you have police report.

They will not allow you to exit either by road or by air without family members.

There is special registration of all members after immigration for those entering on Umrah or Hajj Visa. And this is checked before immigration when you exit.

I would suggest you to send your family first to stay then, on the way you can pick and go for umrah by road and come back.

Dear Brother, As Salam Wa Alaikum.

When you are planning for a good cause, why you are making the situation difficult for yourself and your family.

In my opinion & personal experience Saudi concerned authorities will definately ask you such straight forward questions and may be they will not allow you to return without them.

Better you plan to go with your family by air and while returing you can leave them behind as planned.

The above option sounds better.

Also, directly approach KSA Embassy, atleast you will have a clear picture.

Jazak Allah
