What are the procedures to start a small cafeteria in Qatar?

Hi everyone,

I am willing to start a Small Indian Cafeteria in Qatar.

I need to know the below specifics in order to plan & set up the necessary formalities accordingly

Information required:
1] Do i need a Qatari sponsor
2] Total Funds required (basic material cost + visa cost)
3] Type of License(s) required + costs
4] How to apply for visas for Indian cook(s) & Nepali Asst. cooks/helpers
5] Average rent cost for a place in Doha & outside Doha

Information required:

1] Do i need a Qatari sponsor : Yes you need one

2] Total Funds required (basic material cost + visa cost) Materials, you should know, because it is your business, for visa, this will be after you secure the licenses. It will cost around 2300 Qatari Riyal

3] Type of License(s) required + costs ,

For License:

1. Commercial Registration

2. Civil Defense License

3. Municipality License

4. Immigration Approval

5. Ministry of Labour Approval for your crew visa

4] How to apply for visas for Indian cook(s) & Nepali Asst. cooks/helpers

Secure all the License first and then think about that.

5] Average rent cost for a place in Doha & outside Doha

Very Expensive 12000 to 15000 Depends on the Location
