Compound Living
Hello everyone,
I've recently moved to Qatar and am living in Ain Khalid area. The compound itself is nice enough and the cost is great (QR 10,000/month for 4 bedroom). However, the traffic situation isn't so great. Getting to Doha's city center can be such a headache and I find myself spending way too much time in traffic.
Can anyone recommend a villa compound in the QR 10,000 -15,000 range. Not furnished. Most importantly, in an area with good accessibility to the city center AND a community feel. Was thinking of Alfardan Gardens. Or even an apartment in the Pearl.
Also, open to stand alone villas if they have a decent pool, garden and good location.

My hubbie has been offered a position with Ras Gas ( Senior engineer).It seems we will be based in Doha for some time.Can anyone tell me where Ras gas puts up its employees in Doha...will it be a villa or an appartment?
I think you'll find Alfardan tend to be 18- 20,000 QAR in any location. Villas in Old Airport tend to be a bit closer for City Center but you can check with the real estate agent I used Homes @ Rent Christopher Senevirantne 5589 1294 give him your budget and location, he was quite a help. cheers
