It's just sad when the ANC puppets and so called women rights ANC-operated groups stand outside the court where Oscar was granted bail today and yell that Oscar Pistorius must rot in jail and die!!!
But if my memory is still intact and as far as I can remember, a couple of years ago when Jacob Zuma was on trial for raping and having sex with a prostitute woman , the whole of south Africa was outside in support!
So what is this now? The ANC support/domes people based on race?
And claim he is guilty when a court of law hasn't even started his case? Such sad bunch of people

LOL Brit, he has some sort of legs to stand on and yeah the socks story is been turning rounds but i think they just making it up :p.

MN you keep saying ZUMBA.. lol its ZUMA. The reasons you finding women to be agressive now than before its because alot of violence has been directed to women in SA. Its just unfortunate that he is popular and happened to have killed a woman. If you are a celebrity or popular and murder someone, they give harsh judgement. Check Jub-jub as well, same thing.

If you follow the story..there are just some facts that are unavoidable and too suspicious.

ROFLING!!! Ok, haven't heard that one. ;)

Sorry Miss Mimi. On a serious note, his close friend has said that Pistorius lost it when, for his Valentine’s Day gift, Reeva gave him a pair of socks.

I've read about some of the evidence. In my opinion, he does not have a leg to stand on . :O)

Zuma was a member of the ANC, so of course the ANC Women's Leaque would want him released. Pistorius isn't a member of the ANC.

Also, they're upset that he was granted bail, as they feel he's a flight risk, this is related to the English guy who had his wife killed while in SA on honeymoon and then was granted bail and fled back to the UK where they won't extradite him.

I'm not entirely sure Pistorius isn't a flight risk.

What false assumptions & mistakes have the police made? The only issue with the police that I'm aware of is that the lead detective had to be taken off the case because he's in some legal trouble of his own that had nothing to do with the Pistorius case.

He hasn’t even been convicted yet. Which means he’s still innocent till proven guilty …

Besides, the false assumptions and mistakes made by the SA police have added more confusion to the Oscar case.

Lucky_gal : if you actually read my post carefully you would have read during both their trials.

But please tell me, the ANCWL standing outside court yelling and wanting him to die and rot in jail when the case hasn’t even started however at the same point in time with zumba's trial they were supporting him?

MN all evidence seems to be directing to him killing her, i was home and only arrived back in doha yesterday. Maybe the news here in doha are not broadcasting all the information that is being discovered each and every day.

And also Zuma was wrongfully accused as him and the lady had agreement about their encounter. If really that lady was a prostitute, i dont think she will be able to leave the country and live in belgium or somewhere in Europe.

As Mimi said, lots of violence especially against women and celebrities/well known people provoking the law, hence its a big thing of Oscar staying in Jail.

There have been some pretty high profile gang rape/murder cases lately in SA, so people are a bit more focused on violence against women at the moment then they were when Zuma was on trial. Also, this case seems infinitely more brutal.

Not to mention, Zuma was never a "hero" to people the way Pistorius was.

Let me start off by saying please prove that “I have no clue of what I’m talking about” ?

All I’m saying is that Mr. Oscar deserves the same rights the ANCWL demanded for rapist Zumba while the trail is being conducted, which is innocent until proven guilty. That’s not difficult to understand.

Or is it?

MN you have no clue of what you are talking about, you simply rely on media that says stuff that is making money for them.

Yep, agree with u Brit..

We are just slaves of the media. Our thoughts, opinions, priorities all are being moulded by the media now. Sometime I just wonder why the hell am I so involved with some news which are basically such silly incidents which shouldn't be more than a box news in the 4th or 5th page of a newspaper..

Better to watch the cricket match..:)

It si human nature to form opinions on the data available.

From day 1, the media has been bombarding us with details of his guns, his previous abuse, shots fired, bloodied cricket bat etc etc.

But shouldn't it be "Innocent until proven guilty"? Who are we to judge a person based on the media speculation??

Blame the press and media. They sensationalise and mould the minds of the readers.

Sadly this seems to be the case all around the world today. Guilty until proven innocent, everyone is to be regarded with suspicion and assumed to be capable of the worst!

Just hope and pray the truth comes out soon in this case, and kudos to the family and friends of the deceased who have maintained an open minded approach to what is indeed a terrible ordeal either ways.
