What if Business Visa is not extended?

Hello ,

My husband got a job and left to Qatar from India last month. His visa is a Business Visit visa - valid for one month. He left on January 24 and hence, it has been one month now. The visa has not yet been extended by his employer , which is a concern for us now. My husband's passport are in custody of the employer.

What I would like to know is - would this cause problem when my husband returns back to India? Please let us know the rules.

It is the company who will be responsible for extending or paying any penalty for his visa.

Before he will exit in Qatar, he must pay first the penalty of 200 qr per day until the time he will depart...
