DohaTweetups supports Charity Fashion Show
DohaTweetups, the Youth Company and other community organisations are honored to support Al Amal Charity Fashion Show, organized within Al Amal Cancer Awareness Campaign, to take place on the 8th of March 2013 at Multipurpose Hall of Aspire Ladies Fitness Club.
The event is designed as an effort to raise awareness about cancer patients in Qatar and collect funds for National Center for Cancer Care & Research, former known as Al Amal Hospital. The idea of the event was initiated by FatmaGhanem, young local fashion designer, who decided to use her talent to help the community. The Charity Fashion Show became a part of Cancer Awareness Campaign developed with support of FN Advertising, boutique advertising agency, which took care of marketing materials and media.
The Al Amal Charity Fashion Show will feature an elite and diverse collection of Abayas, reflecting the ’60 themes “The soul of the 60’s”. While the main program of the show starts at 6pm, the doors will be open from 5pm, allowing all guests to enjoy the exhibition of artwork by local artists and designers. All the artwork and Abayas can be purchased at the auction, which will follow the catwalk. All the funds collected during the event, will be donated through Qatar Charity to National Center for Cancer Care & Research.
The campaign was actively supported by Qatar Charity, the Supreme Council of Health; Aspire Ladies Fitness Club – the host of the event, and Commercial Bank – Proud Sponsor of The Youth Company.
