I will soon receive my Qatari residence permit and in two weeks I will be traveling to my home country. I'm considering traveling via Dubai and was wondering if the visa rules are different for people with GCC RP.

For instance, if I want to go out of the airport in Dubai, can I get a visa on arrival if I hold a Qatari RP? [My home country is excluded from visa on arrival in Dubai]

Thanks for your replies. Will definitely check with Emirates office in Qatar but in the meanwhile, is this list online?

You can even call Emirates Airline office in Qatar , they can confirm you whether you are entitled for Visa on arrival at Dubai based on your Designeation/Title on RP.

You can get Visa on Arrival being GCC Resident only if your Title on RP is from the list that are entitled to get visa on Arrival...
