How to get visit family visa – For Pakistani people
Hi all, recently I got the my family visit visa after wasting my lot of days by completing the docs and going here and there.
Now I think I am confident to tell anyone the exact requirements for getting visit visa for Pakistani people. Even the info given on hukomi and MOI is not complete so I thought why share my experience for others.
Ok the first thing is obviously you need to get married  so now you have your marriage certificate.
You need to attest this original marriage cert from Pakistan foreign office. Also apply for the passport as now a days it is taking time for new passports.
So after getting your marriage certificate attested from Pakistan foreign office and passport copy, bring the original attested marriage certificate here and go to Pakistan Emabassy here in Qatar. I guess everyone knows the location of the pak embassy.
You have to go there in between 8 a.m to 12 p.m from Sunday to Thursday. They will take 15 Qr. for one marriage certificate fee in cash which needs to b submitted at the same place at doha bank cash counter. After getting the fee slip go inside the visa and passport section office and you will visa and passport place right side. Give the documents to the officer and go back to your office as they will return the documents only after 1 p.m to 3 p.m on same date. If you came from far then you have to wait there otherwise go back and come back again later. I suggest to go after 2 p.m as most of the people will went away with their documents and there will be no big line to pick the documents.
Now after getting it attested from Pakistan emabassy you need to translate this document into Arabic from some authentic translation center here in DOHA.
The one I choose is just beside the DOHA Rocks, opposite to family food center (Airport) you will find Harley Davidson motor bike show room and then 2 offices and then the OUR OFFICE. Asian translation center.
Their timing is from 8 a.m to 12 p.m and 4 p.m to 8 p.m from Sunday to Thursday.
They will take 120 Qr. for 2 pages. 60 Qr. per page. They will take the docs and ask u to come tomorrow but u can request them that it is urgent I need it today so they will give you may b 1 hour time.
After getting it translated in Arabic, the original marriage cert is no more required. You will get this Arabic marriage cert and then you have to go next day to Qatar chamber office which is in between hilal signal and holiday inn signal. If you pass the hilal signal and going to towards holiday inn you will find it on your left hand side. U can park u car on right side and go inside the Qatar chamber office. Wen u enter in the office u ll find ur room on ur right site first room. Go inside and take the coupon.
The most imp thing is go to Qatar chamber office at early timing. Their office timing is 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m and then 2nd most imp thing is you need to take your ATM card with u, they don’t accept cash.
Many people just waste their one day by not taking their Atm. One other thing if u can go early their office also opened again at 1 p.m. this is the time when they give back the docs which were submitted in morning and they also take new docs for attestation and then again give u time to come back after 2 hours to take them.
Finally, your marriage cert is attested, translation and then again attested from Qatar chambar and ready to submit at visa office.
The other documents you need:
Passport copy of your wife
You company NOC letter
You contract letter which company gives you at the time of joining.
Home rent contract letter is mandatory now.
Photo copy of Arabic translated marriage cert
Visa application form …. Now that is confusing . coz I can find a lot of different forms from different resources and all are written as visa application form.
What I have used ? once I went to Masameeir service center which is the office where you will submit your application for visa. I took the form there and it iis only 1 page form and very easy to understand. Other forms I found on internet are most of them in Arabic.
So wat ever the form you got, fill the form and attach all above menteiond docs and submit them to counter. Masameeir SC has timing of 8 a.m to 12 p.m and then from 3 p.m to 6:30 p.m daily
Usually in one or 2 day you will get your visa. You can track your visa status online.
Best of luck.
Have a safe happily family together.

One more thing i want to add.

you can extend your family visit visa till 7 months normally and then by struggle more 2-3 months means 9 to 10 months you can extend visit.

if you want to apply residence

then

start from first Visit renewal as they are taking and wasting soo much time nearly 4 to 6 months even if you have everything arabic translated and attested.

so be hurry as this is my experience.
