***Penalty for visit extn for typ err in cntr
Hi All,
I have paid Qr. 400 for extending visit visa for my wife & daughter (six months old) on 19th Feb. for one month while my family visa in progress. Then I went for one more month extension on 21st March '13, came to know that my daughter visa was extended only for 5 days during last month extension(TYPO ERROR, later I found previous month receipt says it) and now it reached Qr. 5,200+ penalty.
I tried to explain the situation to the Captain(s) but they were not listening to me or I couldn't understand them since I dono Arabic.
Only option left over is to meet The Major Mr. Nasser Al Atthiya.
Please suggest me, should I pay the penalty or I can get exempted?

Sinecerelyurs, usually you use to get problems with India, now you have problems with QL, Qatar too.....are you a problem-person?
They feel so insecure of festivals even that in my Holi posts they changed so many pics already....they already changed kitchen aid pic in my. Kitchen aid post too....I think this is how well educated people run a website? By interfering members posts.... Ok u r authority to control the nuisance over here but why the hell somebody is insecure about kitchen aid ...? U can't buy it? Or u have reservation in mind to accept other people festivals...and u call itself educated?
If you have a proof of typing error than it might helps . Try to convince the Captain that you have applied extension for both on same day and this error happened . If he is convinced then you might be free from paying fine ....
