Career advise
Hello Members,
Hope all are doing good. I was in a bit of a dilemma and was looking forward for your valuable inputs regarding the same.
I hold a bachelors in computer engineering and masters in general management. I am currently working as a domain consultant wherein I am responsible to understand the end user/ client business requirements, prepare work flows and wire frames to give them a look and feel of our proposed solution, define deliverable s and ensure delivery is met.
From an industry perspective I hold knowledge in steel manufacturing, ocean freight logistics, trade finance and financial risk management.
I am planning to take up two more certifications into "Finance" and "Business Law" to be specific and would like to be involved into "Commercial management" side of things.
The thing that confuses me is if I need to change my career as stated above which would be the best place/ job position to start off with and move ahead.
I am aware its pretty broad and a bit hazy doubt but all your inputs are valuable to me.
I currently have two interviews inline within GCC:
1> Procurement engineer with a fabrication contractor
2> Sales and product engineer with a steel trader
Would any of the above positions be a good start, if yes which one if not what should I be looking for?
Thank you and keen to hear from you soon.
Warm regards,
Ravin
