Hello everyone !

Can someone please tell me how much time required to process work visa for Qatar, It will be my first entry in Qatar. I am from Pakistan.
I have accepeted from QR Group as an IT Engineer.

My HR told me thatWe cannot guarantee a timeframe for the delivery of your Qatar Work Visa, however, most people receive their visa within 3 weeks. In the unlikely event that your Work Visa application is not successful, your Offer of Employment may be withdrawn and cancelled.

I have recieved acknolegement email from HR about my accptance, she also told that they will process my work visa now o Dated: 10- march-2013.

Kindly share your experiences.

hi! I signed my contract with a private organization on 08 may and visa received yesterday, 15 may.. and in between these, my current employment was verified.. i guess visa is applied after background/reference checks, so it also depends on how long they are completed. :)

My wife signed her contract offer as an executive with government on Jan. 1 of this year. It's now May 14 and we still haven't heard a thing, so almost five months.

Hello all,

Is there any update from any one of you about your visa?

Having accepted an offer from an IT company in Doha, I am also waiting for my work visa. It's been more than a week now.

Regards

My experience...

Things move slow in Qatar, sometimes it is frustrating but waiting is good....I am too waiting for my work permit.

Keep me posted. It usually takes 2-3 weeks....

Getting Pakistani visas are very difficult unless your company is a government company. It might take more time and it all depends ..Good Luck
