Have you tried good old fashioned jogging/walking exercise motuuu :P
oh well, from what I read on internet about soy milk, it was a healthy drink lower in fat n higher in protein, but I guess I should have read about the bad effects as well.
thanks u everyone for the response.
Thousands of studies link soy to malnutrition, digestive distress, immune system breakdown, thyroid dysfunction, cognitive decline, reproductive disorders and infertility -- even cancer and heart disease.
Personally whenever I used to eat soy I used to get heat boils... and a kind of digestive distress... so I stopped... only recently I found on the net a lot of negative opinion on Soy... Soy is present in most fast food...
Shoprite or Spinneys....
Check indian supermarket or mega mart
Birdee, yes, try it, I think you will like it. It is healthy and cheap!
hmmm ur almond milk recipe is good, I will definitely try it. Almonds are also protein rich.
You know, soy milk has some bad things too...mostly it is made from gene manipulted soy, and that is very bad for you.
An alternative is almond milk. There is some available that is sweetened with Steevia, a low cal plant based sweetener.
The best alternative, IMHO, is home made almond milk. all you have to do is soak almonds over night in water, then put them with water in a blender. If you want, you can strain them, but you don't have to, as the almond pulp is good for you.
yeah I m using skimmed milk for now, but I m trying to lose through protein diet.
If you are on a diet you can drink skimmed milk (pink cap)it is fat free and no need for Soya milk.
