Hotel Jobs
Hi there
I am from New Zealand, and have been looking at hotel jobs in Qatar.
From what I understand, all large hotels have staff accommodation. Is this correct?
If so, do these tend to be free of charge? And what is provided at these? Or any facilities on site?
In addition, would anyone know about how much the average wage would be
for supervisory level work? I also have heard that unfortunately there is salary discrimination for different nationalities.
When sponsored for Visas, how long does this last?
Does anyone recommend a particular hotel brand that is good to work for?

the main thing before yu accept the job affer is to ask questions.

Gratuity after end of service
Housing is it sharing or single (some they share with others)
Salary you have to really ask what are the standard salary for Aus working in Middle East, less than 4500AED/QR etc or 450OMR including benefit thats very low.
Here is very expensive in the ME not like before, so why get low wage?
The more questions you ask the better for you, dont sign a contract then regret it later, because you cant just change jobs as you wish.

try to check the website of starwood, they are the one managing hotels in doha. my friend is supervisor in a 5 star hotel here and receiving QR2000 - 2500 per month or about US$550.00
