As part of the medical clearance process to get the Visa stamp, I have undergone medical check up at the Medical Commission on 9th April. After blood collection, repeated X-Ray was taken on that day and later on referred for PPD, which was done and the result was 9mm induration. The lab report for HIV etc, were negative. However, the Radiology Report indicated that "Right upper zonal pleural thickening with underlying reticular shadows - for evaluation and I was then referred to Ruhmaliya Hospital on 17th April, where Blood and Sputtam tests were conducted and finally called for consultation with the Doctor concerned on 20th May. I suffered TB attack at my 12 year age and was treated and cured completely. Later on, as part of employment process, complete medical check up was done at Escorts Hearts & Research Institute, New Delhi where all reports, including Chest X-Ray report was normal. I had been continuously undergoing periodic Executive Medical Check ups till 2010 and none of these reports revealed any problem in my chest. This was referred to the doctor concerned and he said that the reports are negative and no medicine etc., were suggested. He handed over a certificate informing that they are forwarding the reports to Medical Commission I should meet the Medical Commission after 10 days, and accordingly I went to Medical Commission on 28th May when I was informed that my case is considered as Unfit and to contact at Room No.63. As advised by the concerned person, I contacted the Doctor concerned of Medical Commission with a letter from my Sponsor about my job profile as manager and the need of holding me here to manage the business. However, the request was not acceded to and my earlier medical reports were also not referred to. He was insisting to produce the latest Medical Report from the parent country (India), which I did not obtain before my departure to Doha. Now what is to be done to get the medical fitness from Medical Commission to stamp the Visa? Whether I should go back to India and if so when? Whether the Medical Commission will hold the medical status as it is, till the time I go back and get the medical certificate from India? I am totally confused and I did not receive any medical report either from Ruhmalia or from Medical Commission's office. What should I do? Please help me and guide.

Medical commission is not accepting medical reports that is done outside or done from other country. whatever the result of your medical from medical commission, that will be final. either you provide certificate from your past medical as long as it is not done in medical commission, they will not honor it. that is the reason why even if we have medical in our own country, we still need to apply for a medical test in medical commission before our working visa will be stamped. if the medical commission states that you are unfit, then that is final.

Medical Commision wont provide the report if you need to get your visa stamped get a letter from medical commission to repeat your test in Hammad Hospital may be it will help

u, i dont think your visa is valid once u travel to india the only option is you can ask your relatives to forward your report by courier however its better if you discuss this issue with Medical Commision Manager

Normally if you are unfit in the test they send back you in your home country this is as per the Qatari Law

Best of luck in your case
