My ex husband has taken a car after our divorce that I bought and paid for and now he won't get it back. How do I get my car back? The car is in my name.

And how did you manage to let him have the keys for you car? I'm pretty sure you did something wrong. We need to have two sides of the story before making any judgment. Everyone says they are angles and have been victimized but never own up to their wrong. I'm sure you must have stolen his property, house, bank balance, kids, etc. right? I have heard your kind of stories many times. Common own up...how many homes and other assets did you take from him that he paid for?

Report to the police that your car was taken by him or worst tell them that your former husband had stolen the car.

Report it stolen. As another poster pointed out, violations and any liability for accidents follow the car and he could be racking up thousands in fines.

If the istimara is on your name, u have all the rights to get back, if not amicably, forcibly atleast. Keep proof for having asked him and he is evading etc., with this you can get back coolly.
