I live in New salta, since 2010.and I have one month rent deposit and QR 500 deposit of water and electricity with my Land.

I only see my Landlord/caretaker Only when they come to collect their rent,If you call a day after that, they will never take their calls.

I have been calling and sending text to them for more than Three weeks now to tell them I am moving out from their by July 1st 2013 and they don't respond.yesterday night i also send them test to come this morning for a meeting and they agree to come by 8am,up till now they have not come

Please you people should advice me on what to do so as to collect my deposit from them, because that money is too much i can't live for them.

I am moving out of the house out of frustration, when there was heavy rain fall in Doha last month,my own apartment was flooded with rain, everything in my rooms got soaked with rain, together with my credentials,we called them, they did not take our calls, they only come when their fellow Indians, now reported the case to them, their answer was that the will do the rapier when we went on vacation.

Now all the A/c's in the house is not working,we have done all they repairs and maintenance in any we could, but the A/c technicians says that A/c are beyond repair, that they need replacement, but they landlord/caretakers says that they will not get a new for us.

How can I be living in a such a place under this hot condition.

May be I have to take case to Qatar Landlord/tenant dispute resolution.

the normal practice is that u stay the last month for free (technically they will use the 1month deposit for your last month stay), they will not refund your money (in most the cases).

if you signed an agreement with the present landlord read the terms and conditions if u diddnt (well at least do it with your new landlord)!!

try talking to your new landlord and asking back for the money, or may be negotiating in any other way possible. you can't have both the new house and the deposit. you will have to select between the two!

Delay your plan to move out and just consume the deposit. they will be force to let you out when you are not paying anymore.
