ban and cancel are the same?

If i finished my contract and asked my sponsor that i will not come back to her so she will cancel me right? So this mean i will be ban for two years or cancel means I can come back to another employer anytime because I'm cancelled ... pls explain thanks
Your visa is cancelled means terminated by your present sponsor .And you will leave the country . You are banned for 2 years in qatar if you will re apply or looking for another sponsor for working visa in between those two years span , but if you will come back and work for your previous sponsor , anytime you can come back then your visa again will be oppened and continued with thesame previous sponsor.
it is in parallel...cancelled visa means you have to exit qatar within 1 month after cancellation. and the 2 years ban will be in effect also. unless otherwise your current employer will issue an NOC so that you can come back as soon as you will find another sponsor. but as far as i know, the NOC itself has an expiration also. so it is not avisable to leave qatar for a longer period. what you can do is convince your current employer to give you a NOC and look for another one while you are still in qatar.
