Help to select a bank.
Dear all.
I am hesitating between 4 banks:
-QIB
-IBQ
-Khaliji
-QNB
My preference would go to QIB and IBQ as they are islamic but i am open to the 2 others if they are much better.
My typical use of bank:
-1 current account and no saving account or 2 current account
-1 debit card to get cash from ATM
-1 credit card to buy locally and on internet notably abroad
-I always make full payment hence I do not care about interest rate and all
-I won't take any loan.
-If there is some 0% over 6 months at electronic and furniture shop ...it is a plus
-if there is miles or discount on shop with the card it is a plus
-The minimum amount to keep on the account should be low
-Most common operations should be free
-Possibility to have a checkbook quickly
Considering this long but basic lists of needs, would you recommend me any bank?

agree with pizzahuts and knkr QNB is a brilliant bank!
Ok, so QNB seems to be the best of normal bank.
What about islamic bank, any of you are using IBQ or QIB and got feedback about it?
I agree with pizzahuts. In QNB credit card is free. Check book you can get instantly through cheque book machine, if you have current account. Service is satisfactory.
In CBQ credit card is chargeable and there are hidden charges. They send credit card to account holders without any application, saying it is free. Actually first year it is free, second year onwards charges will be automatically deducted from the account.

AT ONE TIME. OTHER BANKS HAVE WITHDRAWING LIMIT OF
QR 10,OOO. MANY BRANCHES ARE OPEN IN THE EVENING TIME SO IF UR BUZY IN MORNING IT WILL HELP U.
Both CBQ and QNB are fine. CBQ have their 0% interest on electronics, furniture etc. 6 months repayment - always used it even though I could pay the full amount

Rate Commercial bank best on service and facilities..you earn points while using their credit card.use these points for air ticket booking and shopping...they do .have 0% schemes on credit card instalment buy...plus evening branches at malls..
as per my experienced I am not recommend any bank here in qatar.
Just choice any bank to received your salary and send home that all.
