Hair Salon recommendation

Please can anyone recommend a salon that can actually colour and are trained and experienced and listen? Last time I used a person in Doha except for the chain I am now leaving, he went outside to smoke halfway through cutting my hair and didn't even ask me what colour I wanted. Is there a small salon out there that actually does it properly? Not Glow, 4Seasons or Diplomatic Club.
