my children RP will be expire on 25/2/2014,,can i renew it now bcz i want to send them for one year leave.

You can renew the RP, If you wish for them to stay out of the country for more than six months, you need to apply for a return visa before the leave the country. They Must return to the country before their return visa is expired.

You can renew but the problem is they are not allowed to stay out of qatar for a maximum of 6 months. If they are out of qatar for more than 6 months, their visas will automatically cancelled. If thats will happen, they are not allowed to enter qatar with a cancelled visa.
