Journey from Technician to Engineer Visa

If someone is currently working as an Engineer but per his ID he is a Technician and later he gets offer from another company as an Engineer with Engineer Visa.

Is it easy to transfer the job with NOC and then get Engineer Status Visa on the ID ? or he needs to first cancel his Technician visa and later re-enter the country with new Engineer visa?

Take note this guy is in reality an Engineer with a Master's degree from the West attested by Qatar Embassy but unfortunately under Technician Visa.
