Hi, I am an electrical engineer with 7 years of experience working in Kuwait and I had been trying to relocate myself to Qatar. While applying for jobs I notice that few companies demand Grade A or B certification from Ministry of Muncipality and Urban Planning (MMUP). I am in Kuwait right now. So any means of acquiring one being in Kuwait ? I am clueless. Please help me with your answers. Thanks in advance.

To obtain MMUP registration you need a valid Qatari residence permit, plus a number of other supporting documents, which I can list, if you're interested. So the answer is no, you cannot register, whilst in Kuwait. With 7 year's experience, you could expect a Grade B, provided there are no overlaps in your employment record, unless you have a Master's degree, in which case you would be eligible for Grade A. If you are from India and have a BTech, you would might have problems, because the MMUP is generally reluctant to recognize these degrees...
