Travelling to Dubai
Hello Everyone,
I have RP in Qatar, under husband sponsorship, & we are planning to travel to dubai for vacation.
will we get a visit visa at Dubai airport? or we should go to UAE Embassy to request the visa??
my husband is an Engineer & I heard that engineers can get visa directly at dubai airport, if this is true, then what about me?? will i also get visa as his "wife"?

just to avoid any confusion, you will definitely get visa on arrival if your husband has profession engineer on his RP and is accompanying you...
mostly, you will get visa on arrival if your husband is accompanying you... however, if intending to travel alone, i'm not sure.. i asked the same question at immigration when returning from dubai last week.. one official said if under husband sponsorship, your husband has to accompany you for visa on arrival.. another said you can get it alone too... emirates airline personnel say that u can get it while travelling alone... i would advise you to confirm first so that you dont face any problems later on...
