Birth Registration without family status
Hi All,
By the grace of almighty we blessed with a baby girl last month, Alhamudlillah!!
I need to register her birth in the HMC
but my wife is still under her father's sponsorship
I am trying to change her sponsorship to mine, but the applications keep rejected from Jawazat, anyway I hope I can solve it.
is there any issue if I register the birth ??
also is there any timeline to register after delivery like max 1 month?
I was told that, if I register the birth without family status the application will go to CID and they will give one month to complete the transfer of sponsorship otherwise they will cancel the current RP of my wife and she will b sent to origin country :( :(
Thats why I dint approach them yet,...
pls advice me
tnx
Dear Friend,
As your wife's visa is under her father's sponsorship, it wont affect her. But the problem would be for your daughter. If your daughter's visa is not stamped in 3 months time, she would b blacklisted.
You should somehow transfer your wife's visa to your name, or else, get a visit visa for your daughter as soon as possible.
All the Best..
@jnfgeorge
Tnx for the info
It sounds quiet good answer
But wat abt my wife's visa if I cudnt transfer to my sponsorship
May God bless u
Dear Friend,
After the baby is born, you should register her birth within 10 days. When you go for BC registration, it will mention the date of birth. So, there is no point in delaying the registration.
After you give the application for BC, CID will call you to collect the BC from Saliya CEID. CEID will give you 2 months time from Date of Birth, + maximum 1 month extension (Similar to staying in Qatar without visa for 3 months). After 3 months, per day wld be chrgd at QAR 10.
For your daughter's visa, u need to transfer the visa of ur wife to your sponsorship. If you are not able to transfer ur wife's visa in 3 months time gap, its better u apply visit visa for ur daughter.
Regards,
Try to change ur wifes sponsorship to some company that is the only easy way!!!
Why not you visit the CID office and get your questions cleared. i am sure they will guide you correctly.
