The dangers of a railroad system ... We don't want it in Qatar ..

Two lovers whom officials said had "failed to overcome their natural passion" were hit by a train in Ukraine while they had sex on the railroad tracks, Russian news outlet RIA Novosti reported.

The unidentified 30-something woman died, and her 41-year-old partner lost both his legs in the Saturday morning incident in the city of Zaporozhye.

Yahoo cited a police statement that the pair were supposedly drunk.

"My girlfriend and I could not overcome our passionate nature and wanted to feel a sense of thrill near a railway track," the man later old police, according to RIA Novosti.

Alcohol during the World Cup and Train tracks may not go well together :O(

Yeah and for the QDC its a win win situation.. they have a untapped market of one million so called labourers and other low income workers and more still arriving who still have not seen the four walls or the bottles on display at the QDC and if and when they get the permit they might overrun the QDC

If QDC closes then there will be no people for the train to move.

... so you are saying close down the QDC.. that would be a major disaster of epic proportions. We could do without the railways but certainly not the QDC

They could have done one thing after the other ..... in a safe sequence ......

Rendezvous .... followed by drinks ....

They could make the train and its tracks out of Lego.

or we can apply glue in the train head (locomotive side) :)

Lay the tracks anyway for people to make love on...but don't run the trains on them.

The solution is to hire more police officers on the railroads and If they saw a couple doing anything and train was close Just to warn them or change train route :O)

Or we can just ban the trains

Ban all Russians within 300m radius of train stations and its tracks in Qatar. Problem solved.

But if the railway hadn't been built, then the train would not have run over them..

Lol Brit, It has no connection with local railway..

I read this sad story yesterday.. I wished the man also might have gone as without two legs he will be burden on himself or someone else and will be feeling guilty of losing her girl friend all over his life..

A big loss for going out of control for a temporary pleasure..
