I am a Canadian hoping to land a job with the College of the North Atlantic here in Doha come January. As a condition of the job, they will send your kids all expenses paid to Qatar academy. Can anyone comment on the quality of education in relation to Canadian public school system. I am hearing also, if the school is full the school will provide a generous stipend and in some cases extra money is to be paid out by the applicants depending on the costs of the school if in the event that the Qatar academy. What curriculum does QA follow(british or american?)My wife is a francophone and also a primary teacher here in Canada.. Any chance in getting my children into a French National school? What are the hours of school normally, vacations, etc. How difficult will it be for my spouse to land a job as a teacher or educator in some capacity come January 2006 and what pay would one expect and benefit packages, pension packages etc. Any information would be much appreciated?
