Help - Renting closest to the Toyota Towers
Guys, need your help in that. I'll be moving to Doha soon & my work is located in the Toyota Tower. I need somebody to give me an advice on where is the best place to live near this area (I need names place cuz I know nothing). My plan is to get 1 or 2 Bedroom Appartment in a decent/clean place with a budjet of 5000 to 7000/month.

Talk to the estate agents dear they will find you what you need.
Take a look at the map of Doha quite simple.
The Toyota tower is near the present airport there are many new housing complexes being built there.
Then you have another opportunity - the people you are going to work for can help you most probably, why don't you talk to them.
Don't give me such impudent comments think for yourself a little Doha is not that big.
What makes you think I have any interest in making your life easy I did all my own things and I'm just a WOMAN.

How come you're saying that the area is not important then you say that I don't need to drive all through Doha to get to work. You should know that I know nothing in Doha, so how would I know if the place would be far or no. It's better to make life easier for me and give me some names of the nice locations near to the Toyota Tower where I'd be able to find a decent place to rent!!
You should be able to find a bundle of information about real estate agents and the other possibility is that you check the Gulf Times online there are a great many offers there. The area is not important but you don't want to drive all through Doha to get to your job as the traffic is a disaster with many roads being closed just now.

www.qatar.com you will find almost anything on ther that will help you further. Another good thing is the Marhaba book it comes out every 3-4 months this is an ex-pat bible and has a lot of very good information in it.

There are many many estate agents around who have plenty of available apartments in Doha near the Toyota Tower you can look them up on the Qatar site. If you have enough money you will get a decent appartment. However, be aware of the rent hike situation and make sure that your company will increase the rent allowance the next time around.
A great many people are hoping that the rent prices will decrease after the Asian Games but the insider news is it will not, at least not to the extent of the expectations.
So shop around and bargain well if you can
