MONTHLY RENTAL FOR STUDIO AND ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT

 Hi all

Well, after somethoughts i have regesterd and am varyhopefull that the members will answer my queries as they seems very knowledgable about Doha -Qatar.

Following are what i want to know:

-How much will be the monthly rental of a studio apartment and one bedroom apartment.

-I am a financial analyst and a Power Generation Company is offering me a place, the deal has not yet been finalized, what they told me is any amount above 11,000 Qtari riyal. ALso, perks and other benefits accoring to the companies policy. What u guys thing.............am i under paid or is that alrite.

Hope that u all will try to answer me so that i can make a rite decision.

You should be able to find a furnished studio for 5000QR..

Doha is very small so distance to work and home is not really a issue.

Hi Omega,

Actually i am still didn't step there to work. i spent only four days in May. i had meetings with some of Local Qatari companies such as QTel. Anyhow; the information i broadcast over this forum have been collected from a friend of mine. he is Austrian but he got project with QP. he is on vacation now and will be back to Doha in few days.

Sorry for not being able to provide with more details.

its good to see a relevent reply. Thanks a lot. If u allow, can i ask ya some more questions about the accommodation issue. I will be based in Doha and the office will be very close to JAREER BOOK STORE. Will that be feasable to have accommodation in suburbs, is there any in Doha? or kindly advice how can i save on rent.

no, that's ok. it's just cool to finally get to call someone by my name. haha.

sorry, can't help you with the rental stuff, the hotel i'm gonna work for provides free accommodation to employees, plus the fact that I'm not there yet, so I really don't have much info on that. if i find something out, i'll let you know.

i just want to say that it's not easy to find one bedroom apartment. u can find two bedrooms apartment starting from Q.R. 5500 - Q.R. 7000 unfirnished and Q.R. 9000 - Q.R 12000 Villa unfirnished.

well, what should i say.....except that i can offer you to have this user name and i will re-regester with a new user name.

i will apprecite if u can put some info about the apartment rental in Doha. I was there last week for one day and was unable to get some time to call the property agents.

The agents should be able to give you a good idea regarding rent.

If your basic salary is 11000 it's ok. You should get a good housing allowance, minimum 7000 and a transportation alloawnce. Also ask about medical insurance.

Things are not getting cheaper here.
